Joaquim Alexandre Mendes de Pinho da Cruz

J. Alexandre Pinho da Cruz concluded his L.D. in the Mechanical Engineering's area of Thermodynamics and Fluids, in the University of Coimbra. Afterwards, he concluded his M.Sc., with the thesis entitled "Analysis of the Fatigue Behaviour of 6082-T6 Aluminium Alloy Welded Joints", in the University of Coimbra. Then, already as a member of TEMA and grids - software investigation and development group - he started is Ph.D. in the University of Aveiro, with the thesis entitled "Thermomechanical Characterization of Multiphasic Materials Using Homogenisation Procedures", and developed a finite element code for thermoelasticity multiscale and elastoplasticity parallel simulations.
